Join us April 5 at 8 pm EDT for a webinar presentation on "Supporting Our Transgender Family Members." Many families with transgender family members want to be supportive, but don’t always know where to begin. This presentation will provide information to better understand the gender identities & expressions of loved ones and tools for how families can show care while creating more compassionate spaces for the trans individuals in their lives.
Our presenter will be Lyndon Cudlitz, training and education coordinator for the Pride Center of the Capital Region. As a nationally-known presenter with 15 years of experience in LGBTQ youth services and social justice education, Lyndon has delivered trainings and workshops on sexual orientation, gender identity, healthy relationships, and more. His professional background also includes hospital-based domestic violence services, outdoor education, deaf services, and ten years as a firefighter/EMT.
This free presentation will be conducted via GoToWebinar, which requires a computer equipped with speakers. There will be an opportunity for participants to ask questions at the conclusion of the program. YOU MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE. Our system will accommodate only the first 100 connection requests. Multiple individuals may view at the same computer, but only one person per computer connection should register.
